The objective of this document is to guide the user to setup the technical components of SAP NetWeaver BW so that the Open Items Analytics dashboard can be executed in an SAP NetWeaver 7.40 system. Please note that this usage of SAP NetWeaver BW technology is called “Embedded Use Case” and is very much different from setting up a separate SAP NetWeaver BW as a Hub system that is used as an Enterprise Data Warehouse. This document describes the configuration of SAP NetWeaver BW Components, installation and configuration of the Usage Type BI JAVA and the activation of objects from BI Content.
